Strongman/woman training is all about functional strength, this style of training is a great way to build all-over power as you’ve never felt before and most importantly it is FUN!

At Victory, we provide the coaching and equipment you need to take your Strongman training to the next level. The gym is filled with people who love to get strong. The support and encouragement you find from the coaches and other members are unmatched.

Strongman/Woman training is suitable for all fitness levels, and you don’t need to have weightlifting experience. We have coaches on the floor helping you get the most out of your training.

We are extremely well equipped to cater to all levels of strongman/woman athletes. Raging from first-timers wishing to give it a try, to international-level athletes who we have among our current members.

There is no other gym in West Lothian as committed to Strongman/Woman training as Victory!

CLASSES

  • Victory Development

    Monday & Wednesday - 6:30pm - 8.00pm

    The aim of this block will be to steadily introduce some of our strong man kit and movements into your training as well as continuing to progressively develop your more conventional lifts (e.g squats, deadlifts & bench press). Over the 12 weeks of this block you will learn & develop how to pick up and press the log, pick up and carry sandbags, pick up the axel bar from floor to over head press, pick up & carry farmers handles.

  • Victory Strong

    Tuesday & Thursday - 7:15pm - 8.45pm

    The aim of the block is to get stronger for and progress all lifts specific to strongman/ woman competitions. This group is more specific for those who have aspirations of competing. Already an incredible community.

  • Open Event Training

    Saturday - 10.15am - 1.00pm

    The aim of the open session is to allow for anyone to come in and work on specifics they want to or have programmed to develop in their strongman/woman training. With 2 experienced coaches on the floor to help with technique, progression and sharing experience. This is a chance to train in a welcoming and inclusive environment from beginners to competitive athletes. All working together to be better.
